Chamber duo – Isak Haračić, cello and Sonja Marković, piano will perform at the Summer Palace at Ivanova Korita on August 5, at 8 pm. Their concert program consists music of Camille Saint Saens (Suite for cello and piano, Op. 16; Sonata for cello and piano no.1, Op. 32) and Nadia Boulanger (Three pieces for cello and piano).
In addition to concert activities, the members of this duo are professionally engaged in music institutions: Isak Haračić is the leader of the cello section at the Sarajevo Philharmonic, and Sonja Marković teaches piano at the Music School Trebinje. This duo is the winner of the European Commission’s I-Portunus grant for participation in this year’s Montenegro Summer Camp for Chamber Music. I-Portunus is a program that supports the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals, and its main objective is to connect international cultural communities among all countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme.
