Violist

Violist Petar Obradović  was born in Smederevo in Serbia. He received his primary and secondary music education in Banja Luka in Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Vlado Milošević Music School in the class of Mirjana Bubić. Petar subsequently graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, as a student of Nemanja Marjanović and Panta Veličković. Petar has attended numerous courses in viola, chamber music and orchestral studies with renowned performers and pedagogues, including Petar Mladenović, Aleksandar Milosev, Anton Martynov, members of the Manhattan String Quartet, Lech Antonio Uszinsky and Jörg Winkler. Petar is the winner of awards at domestic and international competitions and festivals. He has played in many youth orchestras: STUEBA (Germany), IYSO Bremen, German-Scandinavian Youth Phiharmonic Berlin, BKO Orfej, Ljubljana International Orchestra, Belgrade Young Symphony Orchestra, Munich Neue Philharmonie, ProClassic and Camerata Academica. He has worked on projects with the Serbia Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in concert halls in Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Germany, China and Italy. He has participated as a mentor-associate at the Montenegro Summer Camp for Chamber Music at Ivanova Korita. He was also engaged as a professor of chamber music at the Vasa Pavić Art School for Music and Ballet in Podgorica. He is currently Assistant Prinicipal Viola player of the Montenegro  Symphony Orchestra.
