Contrabassist Ana  Zvicer  studied at the Music Academy in Cetinje in the class of Pavel Aksamit and then finished her studies in 2008 at the Music Academy in Ljubljana with Zoran Marković. She has played in various chamber groups and orchestras in Montenegro and Slovenia, including the string orchestra led by Janez Podlesek, the concertmaster of the Slovenian Philharmonic. For the Ljubljana Opera, Ana played in the baroque orchestra that performed Monteverdi’s Orfeo under the direction of Egon Mihailović as well as in other productions in the 2012-13 season. She has played in many other orchestras and ensembles in Slovenia.

She has attended master classes with Božo Paradžik, Duncan McTier, Rinat Ibragimov, Hans Roelofsen and others.

In Ljubljana in 2016 she appeared in a joint concert presented by the Branimir Slokar Academy International Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam. In Belgrade and Vienna she has appeared as a member of the Balkan Chamber Orchestra.

Ana has given solo recitals in Montenegro in Podgorica, Nikšić, Cetinje, Kotor and Tivat.

She is the assistant principal contrabassist of the Montenegro Symphony Orchestra.
