The Gosl String Quartet will perform a New Year’s concert on January 5, 2024, at the Royal Theatre Zetskidom in Cetinje at 8 p.m. This newly formed chamber ensemble, started under the auspice of the Montenegro Summer Camp for Chamber Music, consists of young talented musicians: violinists Luka Perazić and Viktor Huter, violist Petar Obradović, and cellist Sari Šaćiri. In the first part of the concert, they will perform romantic pieces by Franz Schubert (Quartet Movement in C Minor) and Alexander Borodin (Quartet No. 2). The second part of the concert will include works inspired by Balkan folklore: Josip Slavenski’s String Quartet No. 5 – Four Balkan Dances and contemporary pieces by Senad Gačević and Dimitrije Golemović (Round and Round Dance, from the “Balkan Dances” series). We remind you that the string quartet Gosl made its debut at KIC “BudoTomović” last September, as part of the Chamber Music cycle, captivating both the music community and creators with their performance.
