Dear musicians,

Montenegro Summer Camp for Chamber Music will hold its fifteenth edition this summer in the beautiful setting of Lovćen National Park.

This project was developed with the aim of promoting chamber music among young musicians while providing them with an opportunity to study under experienced, internationally renowned educators and artists.

This year, we have received applications from 40 musicians of different generations, mostly students from Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, and France.

The Summer Camp’s repertoire will include numerous works from different eras that have inspired performers for centuries.

Music for both standard and non-standard ensembles is equally represented in the program, while we continue to promote contemporary Balkan composers such as Milivoje Pićurić and David Mastikosa.

The finest performances will be showcased at the final public concerts in Cetinje (Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, August 7) and Podgorica (KIC “Budo Tomović”, August 8), giving participants an opportunity to present their artistic potential to a wider audience.

Through non-formal music education and the spirit of international cooperation, we continue to encourage young people to work together, connect, and build lasting friendships.

During ten days at Ivanova Korita, in an intensive working atmosphere, you will improve your performance skills, exchange creative ideas, and receive valuable advice from internationally recognized, active concert artists.

We look forward to new artistic encounters, socializing, and interpreting music together!

Music Program Editor, Project Leader
